The Community for Education Book Scholarship

Please ensure that you meet all scholarship requirements and have all requested items before applying. 

Eligibility Requirements:

• Must be a graduating high school senior in the Class of 2026
• Must be enrolled or planning to enroll in an accredited college or university for Fall 2026
• Must demonstrate a commitment to education, leadership, and community engagement
• Must submit a completed application, including a unofficial transcript and an essay response

Prompt:  

Education has the power to transform lives and communities. At The Community for Education, we believe in fostering equity, investing in students, and creating learning environments that drive meaningful change.

In a 500–750 word essay, respond to the following prompt:

"How has education shaped your personal journey, and how do you plan to use your education to create a positive impact in your community?"

We encourage applicants to share their personal experiences, challenges they have overcome, and their vision for how education can be a tool for change. Strong essays will demonstrate passion, resilience, and a clear commitment to making a difference.

Applications for the 2025–2026 academic year are now open and must be submitted by July 11, 2025.
