Shanna Kennedy is a certified executive coach, leadership strategist, and founder of Kennedy & Co Leadership. With over a decade of experience designing and leading transformational leadership programs for senior executives, she brings deep expertise in organizational development, coaching, and equity-centered leadership. Shanna has worked across nonprofit, corporate, education, and social impact sectors, helping individuals of all ages unlock their potential towards clarity, purpose, and authenticity.

Dr. Sarah Whipp is an educational researcher and consultant on organizational effectiveness in school systems. She has assisted numerous school districts nationwide in developing programs to track student college and career readiness outcomes. She earned her doctorate from Johns Hopkins University in Entrepreneurial Leadership in Education. Her dissertation research focuses on the impact and value of school counseling concerning student success and equitable access to resources for postsecondary success.

Darien is a proud Philadelphia native, equity-centered school leader, and doctoral scholar whose work reimagines what’s possible in education by blending research, leadership, and deep community engagement. Shaped by his upbringing in Quaker schools, he developed a lifelong commitment to reflective practice, educational equity, and learning rooted in community and purpose. He earned his B.A. in International Relations and French from Tufts University and began his career teaching middle school in the Charlotte-Mecklenburg School District through Teach For America. Returning home to Philadelphia, Darien taught middle school humanities and earned his M.S.Ed. in Urban Education with a concentration in law and policy from the University of Pennsylvania. He has held leadership roles as Assistant Principal and Director of Operations within the Mastery Charter Schools network and currently serves as Associate Head of School at Greene Street Friends, a Preschool–8th grade Quaker school. Beyond his formal roles, Darien mentors Philadelphia youth, consults nationally on culturally responsive assessment and curriculum design, and serves on nonprofit boards committed to educational equity.
Anna Kanze Hamilton is an advisor, mentor, and board member working to increase access to resources and networks and reduce gaps to promote entrepreneurship, job creation, and investment, and create lasting social change. She is a systems thinker who loves working on processes for organization and efficiency and connects business, government, philanthropic, and educational leaders to advance sustainable communities in metro Atlanta and beyond. She is a mother to two children in the City of Decatur school system, where she is an active volunteer, and she is also an advisor to local Atlanta organizations, including My Panda and Safehouse Outreach. She has a degree from the University of Pennsylvania and a MBA from NYU Stern Business School.
Anna joined the Community for Education because of its mission to provide transformative educational experiences for all students and teachers through concrete and tactical community-building initiatives. In a time of rapid change and increasingly scarce resources, locally-driven efforts like the Community for Education are essential for securing a brighter future for our children.
